In tests conducted by Gerardo G. Clemena, Ph.D., of the Virginia Transportation Research Council and sponsored by the Virginia Department of Transportation comparing various rebar products for corrosion resistance, ZBAR resisted corrosion essentially the same as the stainless steel rebar.
